Roundtable on Timely Justice
A Round table was facilitated at CCS office to discuss the issue of Timely Justice on Friday, 12th December 2014. Every participant proposed solutions to the issue of backlog and delay in the legal system. After listing down all the solutions, there was voting by the participants (2 votes per participant) on choosing viable solutions considering (i) potential impact and (ii) likelihood of adoption. It was also noted that most solutions pertained to addressing accountability deficit in the legal system.
Implementation of Street Vendor's Act
A session on the new street vendor law was conducted by Shefali Malhotra at Manikchand Pahade Law College, Aurangabad on Human Rights day, 10 Dec. 2014. It was about the Street Vendors' Act and its implementation. It was attended by about 60 students and law professors from different colleges.
Roundtable on Model Scheme under the new Street Vendors Act
A Round table was facilitated at CCS office to discuss the Model Scheme under the new Street Vendor's Act drafted by iJustice on Friday, 8th August. Main issues were: principles for allotment of vending stalls and fees, and principles for determination of zones. The event was attended by 10 stakeholders including lawyers, NGO representatives and law students.
Rule of Law Workshops at National Law Universities
'Rule of Law' session was conducted in two National Law Universities, i.e. NLU Jodhpur and RGNUL, Patiala n the last week of August 2014. Around 35 First year law students attended the workshops and gave excellent feedback. Professor Shveta Dhaliwal, RGNUL shared later that post-workshop students wanted all their classes to be formatted like our session based on case studies, involving group exercises, presentations and questions and answers. Roundtable on Model Rules under the Street Vendors Act 2014
At iJustice Roundtable, dated 4 April 2014 (Friday), on "Implementation Strategy on the Street Vendors Act 2014", it was decided to frame Model Rules under the Act for dissemination amongst Government authorities. As a follow up to the above, iJustice organized the present roundtable to discuss the draft Model Rules and strategy for dissemination of the same. Around 14 people attended the discussion.

iJustice organised its second roundtable on "Applicability of Competition law to Education Sector: Jurisdiction and Scope of Remedies", on 9 May 2014 at the CCS Office. Around 14 people attended the discussion.
Roundtable on Implementation Strategy on the Street Vendors Act, 2014
iJustice organised its first roundtable on 'Implementation Strategy for the Street Vendors Act 2014", on 11 April 2014 at the CCS Office. Around 14 people attended the discussion. Issues related to the implementation of the Act were discussed, namely, constitution of TVCs and non-compliance with the Supreme Court order. A key outcome of the discussion was to frame draft rules under the Act for submission to the Government.
Free Speech Campaign at the Sounds of Freedom Concert, 2014
iJustice participated at the Sounds of Freedom Concert, organized by Teamwork Arts, on 23rd March 2014 at NSICS Grounds, Okhla, New Delhi, wherein we conducted a “Free Speech Campaign”.
Free Speech Campaign at the Jaipur Literature Festival, 2014
On Saturday, 18 Jan 2014, iJustice was at Diggy Place for its campaign on the "Freedom of Speech and Expression" witnessing a sea of humanity at the world's largest free literary festival. We were given space at the information desk, where we distributed our flyer and interacted with people from all walks of life, including writers, bloggers, students, scientists, lawyers, etc.
